One of my greatest fears in life is forgetting what it feels like to be a kid.

My dad is an asshole, and he doesn’t remember what it’s like to be a kid. My brother and I were constantly told to play quieter (or quit playing altogether). He doesn’t remember what it feels like to play a sport because it’s fun to be with your friends rather than playing a sport to win. 

I don’t want to raise my kids the way he raised me.

I want to run, and laugh, and yell, and play with my kids because I remember what it was like to do all of that. 

Walt Disney is amazing, and I think he pulled through on this.
