amen! I can’t do waitressing, or working fast food and even though I don’t want to work fast food the fact I can’t even try for those jobs because of my hearing loss is frustrating. Especially since I live in a hospitality-industry driven town
I can only imagine! The food industry is one I’ve been lucky enough to stay out of. I would NOT function well in a restaurant for several reasons, the least of which is my hearing or lack thereof.
I know there’s a KFC in Cairo that is run entirely by Deaf people! Doesn’t help us any, but I thought it was interesting!
